What is Fair Shot Soccer’s Mission?

Fair Shot Soccer Foundation believes that every young athlete deserves an equal chance to develop both their on field skills, and their leadership skills.

Soccer programs in the U.S. are focused more on monetization than they are developing kids from all economic backgrounds and many excellent athletes stagnate because of their inability to pay high club fees.

Fair Shot Soccer raises funds by holding skill building sessions. 100% of the funds go toward facility rental costs, with the remaining funds going toward providing underprivileged youth FREE soccer gear (Balls, Shin Guards, Socks, Kits) and development opportunities.

Athletes who have households with less than $120,000 annaul income are eligible to participate in our practices and play on our tournament teams, FREE.

Who are the Matadors?

Fair Shot puts together diverse/coed soccer teams to practice and play tournaments under the “Matadors” banner.

Eventually, our goal is to start a West Michigan Soccer Club where athletes annual fees are income based, with athletes whose parents income is <$120,000 play for free on “scholarship”.

The Matadors coaching team promotes servant leadership development in young athletes. We believe every player is captain material and that developing who the players are is just as important as developing their skill over the ball.
